This month, we've chosen the Hamilton Khaki Navy Scuba, a sporty watch that embodies the spirit of the sea and technical robustness. The selected strap is a black sailcloth model with orange stitching that echoes the colorful details of the watch bezel. 1. A short anecdote or your general feelings?
I think this strap should be offered as standard! The watch came with a black NATO strap (with a strap that was too short for my liking) and it didn't do the watch justice!
2. How would you describe the final look of this watch/bracelet combo?
It hasn't escaped anyone's notice: a sailcloth strap is practically the perfect match for a dive watch. The color accents, especially the stitching, also play a significant role.
3. Why did you choose to pair it with an Avel & Men bracelet?
Several years ago, I came across a post from the brand's founder on Instagram. He was looking for ambassadors, and we got in touch at that time.
4. Is this a style you wear often?
I find the outfit quite sporty, so I usually reserve it for weekends. In the summer, I tend to wear NATO straps, so for me it's a winter outfit.
5. What appealed to you about the Hamilton Khaki Navy Scuba?
The first detail that really caught my eye was the orange and black bezel. I'm a huge fan of orange. I also like the relatively tall case, which gives the watch a robust look when worn. Oh yes, I almost forgot its fantastic 72-hour power reserve, which is really convenient if you like to switch watches from day to day without having to constantly wind them.
